TWO FRAMED CUT PAPER WHIMSEYS. Note on back "Cut by Sarah Spence 1859-1860 New Hampshire and later of Valley Force, Penn.". Lot icludes the top most piece in the photo and the black framed one on the lower left. The first is a blue zig-zag bordered circle interwoven with a white bar in old gold frame. 1 1/4" dia. Frame 3 1/2"h. 3"w. The larger work contains interwoven blue and a white hearts with a loop of braided hair and tails of blue plaid ribbon. 3"h. Frame 5 1/2"h. 4 1/4"w.
