GEORGE III BOOKCASE. English, ca.1800-1820, two-piece, in fruitwood with pine secondary wood. Four doors, each having four large panes, and ten adjustable shelves, all resting on turned feet. Refinished, retains old/original wavy glass, a few repairs. 81"h. 58 _"w. 15"d.
Condition reportCondition: Refinished, glass appears to be original in all but 1 pane, and it's old wavy glass. Pieced repairs and some losses at the mid- and the base moldings, some of the shelves are replaced; the seam in the cornice appears as-made, added piece behind the cornice.
