American, 19th Century. Pine with original dark blue paint,
ivory trim and ivory and green flowers and stylized designs.
Wire bale handle, staple hinges and original hasp. Some
edge wear and staple hinges repaired. Similar to a box sold
at Garths, November, 2004. 12w."

Condition: Varnish has darkened. Original blue color can be seen around flakes.
