Probably New England, 1790-1810. Worn and crazed
black paint over traces of earlier red on bench with welldefined
bamboo turnings highlighted in yellow. Deep
shaped and incised seat and birdcage crest. Some repair.
81l. 23"d. 36"h. overall. 16" seat."

Condition: Left arm professionally repaired. Old sizeable patch on seat.
