TWO NAVAJO RUGS
An early transitional weaving with a T" motif used by the weaver in other, large pictorial pieces along with similar diamond and crown motifs. Also, the same orangy tan and red on a carded natural ground color combination. This piece with a well carded gray border. Fine sheen to wool. 3" sticky place on one side. Corner fray, warp break and small hole. (2® x 3® 9") A striped Navajo rug in reds, gray and black stripes alternating with carded natural along with a yellow stripes at the ends and middle.
