30 Baseball Exhibit Cards of various players of the era. These interesting cards measure 3 3/8 x 5 3/8" and were dispensed from penny machines found at fairs and local stores. There are several Hall-of-Famers here: Johnny Mize, Bob Feller, George Kell, Ralph Kiner, Warren Spahn, Hal Newhouser, Larry Doby & Phil Rizzuto. Many of these cards have printed salutations such as 'Yours Truly' and 'Best Wishes'; all cards have a printed signature of the player. Condition varies from card to card, but most have dinged corners and there is some slight warping due to age on a few. Fortunately, the common player exhibit cards have the most wear while most of the HOFers are in decent shape. Also includes: 11 picture cards from the National Chicle series issued in the mid-1930s. These cards are all common players and are in fair shape at best. Inspection suggested. A very interesting collection of semi-obscure memorabilia.
