1957 TOPPS BROOKLYN DODGER CARDS, NM CAMPANELLA

This 10 card lot consists of key players from the final year the Dodgers were in Brooklyn, 1957, before relocating to L.A. The two standout cards here are GAI-graded: #210 Roy Campanella (GAI 7 NM) AND #170 Duke Snider (GAI 4 VGEX). The Campanella card is quite a specimen, with no visible surface wear, sharp corners and 55-45 centering. Snider's card is sharp as well, with a bit more edge and corner wear. Other cards in this lot include: #18 Don Drysdale RC (VG), #30 Pee Wee Reese (FR), #130 Don 'Nuke' Newcombe (VG+), #80 Gil Hodges (VG), #252 Carl Erskine (GD-VG), #115 Jim Gilliam (VG+), and #45 Carl Furillo (FR-GD). Lot also includes 'Dodgers Sluggers' card, #400, with a GAI rating of 1.5 (FR) due to a slight tear at the top; card features Furillo, Hodges, Campanella and Snider. Without the tear, the rating on this card would be much higher as the corners are quite sharp and the card itself is well centered. Inspection suggested. All non-GAI grades are approximate. A great grouping of cards of the 'Boys of Summer'.
