In a heroic attempt to bring aid to earthquake victims of his native Puerto Rico, a legendary player and man was lost at sea. Roberto Clemente may be gone, but his legacy will always remain. Here are three Topps baseball cards from his early career: #76 from the excellent 1957 series (GAI 3 VG), with a very clean face with only a slight wrinkle, 65-35 centering and mild to moderate corner wear; #326 from 1960 (GAI 4 VGEX) with okay corners and 75-25 centering, with some very mild scratches on the face; and #10 from 1962 (GAI 5 EX), with sharp corners (one ding, lower left), and mild surface marks. Celebrate the legacy of the first Latin American Hall of Fame player with this great trio of cards.
