(CV$2300) 29-card grouping of HOFers and other stars from the outstanding 1957 Topps series. Condition of these cards range from VG to EX (and maybe higher). This selection includes the following 17 Hall-of-Famers: Hank Aaron (#20, VG+), Luis Aparicio (#7, VG+), Ernie Banks (#55, EX), Yogi Berra (#2, FR), Jim Bunning (#338, VGEX+), Roy Campanella (#210, VGEX), Don Drysdale (#18, GD-VG), Whitey Ford (#25, VGEX+), Al Kaline (VGEX+), Bob Lemon (#120, EX+), Eddie Mathews (#250, EX), Red Schoendienst (#154, VG+), Enos Slaughter (#215, VGEX), Duke Snider (#170, EX), Warren Spahn (#90, VGEX), Hoyt Wilhelm (#203, VGEX), and Early Wynn (#40, VGEX). The corners on most of these cards are in the VGEX to EXMT range; it is the centering and surface wear that pulls the condition ratings down. Other stars in this group include: Bill Skowron, Don Zimmer, Jimmy Piersall, Gene Mauch, Don Larsen, Ted Kluszewski, Elston Howard, Gil Hodges; there are also team cards of the Cardinals, Reds (here 'Redlegs'), and Yankees plus the 'Dodgers Sluggers' card with Furillo, Hodges, Campanella and Snider. Ratings of these cards vary from VG to EX. All grades approximate. What a great find!
