(CV$3000) This 46-card set includes many Hall-of-Famers and minor stars, as well as a handful of the scarce 'yellow name' and 'yellow team' cards that are prevalent in the 1958 series. Most notable is the Al Kaline YN card (cv $250). Many duplicates in this set, including six Stan Musial All-Star cards and many doubles. HOFers include: Luis Aparicio x2 (#85, both VGEX, one is a 'YT'), Ernie Banks A-S (#482, EX+), Ted Williams A-S (#485, VGEX+), Nellie Fox A-S x2 (#479, VGEX & EX), Frank Robinson A-S (#484, VGEX), Eddie Mathews A-S (#480, VGEX), Warren Spahn A-S (#494, VGEX+), Eddie Mathews (#440, VGEX, OC), Brooks Robinson x2 (#307, both VGEX), Robin Roberts (#80, VG+), Early Wynn 'YT' (#100, VG), Bob Lemon (#2, GD-VG), Harmon Killebrew (#288, EX), Nellie Fox (#400, VGEX+), Yogi Berra (#370, EX+ -- would be higher if not OC), Hoyt Wilhelm (#324, EX+), Whitey Ford (#320, VGEX, has wax-stains), and last but certainly not least, Mickey Mantle A-S (#487, EX, 60-40 centering). The additional cards range mostly between VG to EX. Inspection suggested due to duplicates. Great set for mining. All grades approximate. A set worth recommending!
