(CV$4200) A nice starter set of Bowman cards from 1952, with 105 out of the first 143 cards present, and only one (#177) above that, for a total of 106. Numerous HOFers here: Yogi Berra (#1, GD-VG), Robin Roberts (#4, FR), Pee Wee Reese (#8, VG), Ralph Kiner (#11, VG), Nellie Fox (#21, GD-VG), Bob Lemon (#23, VG+), Red Schoendienst (#30, GD-VG), Bob Feller (#43, FR), Roy Campanella (#44, GD), Phil Rizzuto (#52, GD-VG), George Kell (#75, VG), Larry Doby (#115, GD-VG), and Duke Snider (#116, VG). Other notable players: Minnie Minoso RC (#5, GD), Gil Hodges (#80, GD-VG), and Don Newcombe (#128, GD-VG). Most cards in this group have condition issues: surface wear, rough edges, dinged corners; very few outright creases or wrinkles. Inspection suggested. A great starter set of one of the more colorful early card series.
