(CV$8600) 185 cards from the 274-card 1953 series. This vintage set packed with stars and HOFers. The eight elite players in this collection are: Eddie Mathews (#37, VGEX), Pee Wee Reese (#76, GD-VG), Enos Slaughter (#41, GD), Ralph Kiner (#191, VG), Red Schoendienst (#78, GD-VG), Early Wynn (#61, PR-FR), Hal Newhouser (#228, VG), and Whitey Ford (#207, FR). Set also has 42 cards from the more scarce higher numbered cards (220-280), including #280 Milt Bolling (CV $350, GD-VG). This set has seen some wear as the vast majority of the cards are less than VG. Inspection suggested. All grades approximate.
