(CV$1500) Once upon a time in the 1980s, Donruss was one of the 'big three' in baseball card makers along with Topps and Fleer. Other brands have come and gone since then, including Score which opened shop in 1988. When Score's parent company went under in 1998, Donruss acquired them. This lot contains most Donruss sets and nearly all of Score's. Includes: every Donruss set from 1982 through 1993 (excluding 1992), unopened; Donruss 'The Rookies' series, 1988 through 1991; opened Donruss complete sets from 1994 through 1998, and 2003; and Donruss Update sets of 1992, 1994 and 1998. Score series include: 1988 (the original), 1988 Rookie & Traded, 1989, 1989 R&T, 1990, 1990 R&T (unopened), 1991 Complete Collectors Edition (unopened), 1991 R&T (unopened), 1992 Complete Collectors Edition (unopened), 1992 R&T (unopened), 1993, 1994, 1994 Update, 1995, 1996, 1997 (x2, one is an unopened tin box 'Collector Set') and 1998. A nice grouping of complete sets to round out your collection.
