This multiple signature baseball is an OAL (MacPhail) ball. ALL of the signatures on this ball are hand-signed by New York Yankee players from their glory years, the 1920s through the early 1960s. Hall-of-Famers abound: Joe DiMaggio shares the sweet spot with HOF catcher Bill Dickey; 1920s pitcher Waite Hoyt; 1930s pitcher Lefty Gomez; slugger Johnny Mize and infielder Joe Sewell round out the HOFers. Another big signature on this ball is that of Roger Maris. Other Yankee stars' autographs on this ball include Ed Lopat, Vic Raschi, Bill Skowron, Johnny Blanchard and Allie Reynolds. Although the baseball would date from 1974-84 period, all of these players were certainly alive at this time, making this an incredible piece of memorabilia-- most likely an old-timers event. A must have for the Yankee collector or any fan of baseball history. (2007 JSA COA)
