Many different Sports magazines, mostly St. Louis sports (Cardinals or Rams) related. Several commemorative issues of magazines pertaining to Mark McGwire's 70-homer season, the 2006 World Series, the Rams' Super Bowl victory, and much more. Several issues of the collectors edition of 'Heroes of the Game' and 'Sports Legends' magazines, most from the early 1990s. Lot also includes rare comic books from the early '90s featuring Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle. Two items from the 1960s: a 'Treasure Chest' comic (Vol 20, #16) from 1965 featuring Babe Ruth, and a well-kept Sporting News 'World Series Records' digest from 1961-62 with Yogi Berra on the cover. Two signatures featured here: Juan 'Juan Gone' Gonzalez, slugger from the 1990s who has made several comeback attempts, has hand-signed in blue ink a Trading Cards magazine cover; and an 8"x10" color photograph of former Cardinal Curt Ford, also hand-signed. An interesting conglomeration of magazines and other readables!
