1940s RITTGERS BASEBALL STATUES

A interesting trio of vintage Rittgers baseball statues. On opposing sides of the stoic umpire statue are players depicted as playing for the Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants. The White Sox statue was reportedly created specifically for player Monty Stratton. Some minor chipping along the hat brims and some paint removed, but otherwise in nice shape. Along each statue's shoe states 'Copyright 1941, Lafayette L Rittgers' - although it states 1941, these statues were actually made throughout the 1940s with the same copyright date. Great vintage collectibles!
