Elephant ivory and this items was imported into the United States legally. A precisely carved handle with a chief perched behind a tree ready to capture an Indian maiden. It has a signed sterling and engraved collar, a stepped exotic wood shaft and a bi-metal ferrule. There is a very minor repair on the rear of the handle and the face of the maiden has a small infraction-H. 1 5/8" x 4 5/8", O.L. 35 3/8"-$2,000-$4,000
