Court Sword-Ca. 1780-This is the prime example known to exist in the world of early system canes. It has a sand cast pommel handle which is bell bronzed and also a 4" brass ferrule which is all done by hand. There are two copper collars where the shaft and the handle join and also a bell bronzed bail. The cane has a locking mechanism and a 4-sided 30", hand forged blade. The handle is a very rich malacca and the shaft which holds the blade is massive honey malacca -H. 2" x 1 ¼", O.L. 48"-$5,000-$6000
