Catlinite Folk-Art-Ca. 1880-The handle is a one-piece carved pipe stone and it is attached to a four-sided oak shaft. The polychrome black rattle snake with iron eyes wraps around the center of the cane. This cane is probably of Native American Ohio Valley provenance. It has a very small copper plate on the bottom of the shaft-H. 3 1/8" x 3 1/8", O.L. 39"-$800-$1,200
