Important Napoleonic Cane-Ca. 1850- Direct International shipping is not available for this item from the auction company. This Item will only be shipped within United States by the auction company. Elephant ivory and this items was imported into the United States legally. A most unusual hidden compartment cane. The two-piece ivory handle is quite symmetrical and by unscrewing the top and removing it a 1 ½" bronze gold dore' statue of Napoleon with arms crossed and a sword exposed. The figure is a nice early sand casting done by a quality work shop. It has a very rich snakewood shaft and an ivory ferrule-H. 4" x 1", O.L. 35 ½"-$1,500-$2,500
