Description: 2 volumes in 1. 368; 352 pp. (12mo) 6x4, contemporary full straight-grain brown morocco bordered in gilt, raised bands, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt.With a superbly executed fore-edge painting. Inserted leaf at front in calligraphic script reads: "This is No. 39 of the Books with Fore-edge Paintings by Miss Currie. The Painting under the gold is a view of The Marquis of Hertford's Villa, Regent's Park. Signed C.B. Currie."
