Circa 1755 English mahogany tall case clock with tombstone cornice, columns with brass stop-fluting on both bonnet and casement, three weights, one added at a later date for driving a bell tune which plays on the quarter hour. The face has gilt spandrels and shows both date and moon phases. Clock signed by Richard Stephens of Bridgenorth, 75"h. x 19"w. x 9"d.
