C. 1850 fine Indian export carved ivory figure of a merchant on an elephant, in original fitted case, figure is 5 1/2"h. x 5"l. x 3 5/8"w., case is 6 1/4"h. x 7"d. x 5 5/8"w. Some minor brakes to chains etc, pieces of trim and foot missing from base.
