FERNAND ANTONIN MERCIE (French, 1812-1877) "Gloria Victis," bronze with gilt bronze statue. Provenance: Private Collection, New Jersey. Signed "A. MERCIE" and titled "GLORIA VICTIS" with foundry mark "F. Barbedienne Foundeurs Paris" and foundry stamp. 36 1/2" high.
