Original Holly Carr painted hope
chest entitled “What Is Pink?”
Canadian Nova Scotia artist Holly Carr has gained
notoriety for her unique ability to create bold and
colorful silk paintings. Her artistic inspiration and
depiction of human interactions and humor found in
social stereotypes is cleverly illustrated in her paintings.
Holly’s hope chest entitled “What is Pink?” is a
rendition of her first children’s book published in 2007
by the same title.
Holly’s love of children and love of art has resulted in
her generous donation of time and talent to paint one of
the live auction’s hope chests. As the first artist asked to
paint a chest for this event, we are eternally grateful for
Holly’s wholehearted support and commitment. This is
your opportunity to purchase Holly’s unique hope chest
and help raise funds for childhood cancer research!
