(for 1896); Boxlock top-lever action with game scene engraving. 26" barrels marked: PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN CONN. VULCAN STEEL with broad arrows; choked cylinder in both. 2 3/4" chambers; 14 3/8" full pistol grip stock of American walnut with 'Dog's Head' hard rubber buttplate and Parker Bros. hard rubber pistol grip cap. Splinter forend with Anson-type release.
Fair to good condition. Barrels with 30-40% original blue turning brown. Small dents in right barrel (removable). Slight pitting in both. Engraving on receiver somewhat worn. Stock & forend with numerous dings & blemishes, with checkering worn.
