20th century, comprising two pottery whistles modeled as Napoleonic soldiers mounted on roosters, the details picked out in polychrome, one dated 1800, the other 1803, signed on the base, the open ended chicken tail feathers creating the mouthpiece. 1800 (7 1/8"H). 1803 (8 1/2"H). Condition: excellent, no damage or repair.
