Edme Alexis Alfred Dehodancq (French, 1822-1822), "Portrait of an Officer in the African Army", oil on canvas, stretcher signed and inscribed on verso, stretcher with gallery notation "Pierre Dufant 75 Avenue ?, Paris, with "PD" red wax monogram, framed. 13 3/4" x 10 3/4" (canvas). 15 3/4" x 12 3/4" (framed). Condition: excellent, some light wear to gilding, some light varnish irregularity.
