19th c. Margate Royal Infirmary Watercolor

19th Century English School, "Infirmary Margate", watercolor on paper, depicting a horse drawn hay cart and farmer in front of a neoclassical style building, titled, matted, and framed. Note: This miniature watercolor depicts the Royal Seabathing Hospital at Margate. Patients were treated for tuberculosis through exposure to sea air and salt water bathing pools. In recent years the hospital has been converted into luxury condos. 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" (sight). 7" x 9 3/4" (framed). Condition: very good, not examined out of frame.
