Peter Tereszczuk (Ukrainian-Austrian, 1875-1963) finely cast in bronze as a bare breasted beauty leaping over the back of a clown, their faces carved from ivory (This ivory is over 100 years old, with possible origin in Africa, and may not be exported out of the United States), cast artist signature, Made in Austria and foundry mark, raised on a green marble base. 9 1/4"H (sculpture only). 12 1/4"H (base to top of sculpture). Condition: three very faint hairline cracks to woman's torso, very faint hairline crack to man's face, with some faint discoloration. Note: Tereszczuk was born in Wybudow, Ukraine, and actively worked in Vienna from 1895-1925.
