Bergmann, Austria, cast in bronze as a Middle Eastern man kneeling on his rug in preparation for prayer, cold painted in polychrome, his hinged waist opening to reveal an interior fitted with a porcelain inkwell, the base stamped with "B" enclosed within a vase. 5 1/2"H. 5 1/2"W. 6"D. Condition: some very light flakes to painted surface near waist, otherwise excellent.
