SET OF FOUR CHIPPENDALE SIDE CHAIRS. Mahogany with an old dark finish. The square legs have molded corners and chamfered backs. Stretcher base. Tapered and splayed rear columns with a serpentine crest and medallion ears. Large back splat with scrolls near the top tapering to the serpentine base. Later slip seats are covered in contemporary upholstery. One ear has a pegged split and the interior seat supports are replaced. Seats 20 1/2"h. 37"h. overall.
