Acid-Etched & Obverse Painted Lamp Attr. Pittsburgh
Attributed to Pittsburgh, Rare and Early Acid-Etched and Obverse Painted Glass Lamp. Rare and unusual lamp, providing an appearance of panels and the design of leaves and grapes in each panel. Circa 1905-1910. This type of early shade is described by Paul Crist in Mosiac Shades, Volume II (and shown in photograph on p. 32); also similar to acid-etched Pittsburgh Lamps shown in Antique Trader Lamps & Lighting Price Guide (© 2002, pp. 281, 182). Excellent condition. 25.5"H x 16"d. Authenticity Guaranteed.
