Condition: Front inner hinge cracked and separated, joints rubbed, spine a bit soiled. first edition with dore's magnificent illustrations, printed on "papier du special marais". One of the most elaborate (and expensive) children's books ever produced, it contains many of the finest illustrations done by Doré in his great career.
