Created in 1935 and titled "Grandpa Takes A Walk ", pencil signed lower right and in the plate, this rare work is done in drypoint and sand ground etching. It bears all the strengths of a classic Martin Lewis etchings, which are highly valued and widely sought after, especially in very good to fine condition as this one is with strong impression. The image measures 8 7/8 by 11 5/8 inches with a full sheet size of 12.75 x 16.625 inches.

Full untrimmed sheet, not laid down, very clean, noting a very faint mat outline slightly more pronounced in the lower left corner, with two small groups of pinpoint foxing in that same area and one other area half an inch below the print near center 1/4" from the bottom margin.
