Arabesque style gilt and jeweled leather bookbinding, by Riviere and Son, London, late 19th Century, executed on a copy of [E. Fitzgerald]; RUBAIYAT OF OMAR KHAYYAM; AND THE SALAMAN AND ABSAL OF JAMI; RENDERED INTO ENGLISH VERSE (London: Quaritch, 1879) 12mo., full green morocco with red leather onlays and colored glass and faux pearl jeweling, onlaid and gilt leather doublures and fly leaves; together with a fitted boarded morocco case, possibly by another binder.

Paper backs of fly leaves are rumpled; front hinge showing the slightest weakness. Case showing light wear, missing clasp button cover, submit inquiry
