arched and painted dial signed "Hawkes Walfall", waisted case with Gothic and shell inlaid door, inlaid box-form base, with weights and pendulum (pendulum lacking rod), British, 19th century, 59 x 18-3/4 x 8-3/4 in. Scattered damage and repairs to veneers and moldings, losses to brass finial, flaking and losses to calendar ring on dial, other possible paint restoration, feet cut down, bottom board replaced, case uprights extended at saddle board, other scattered repairs throughout.
