one bottle form with mask above coat of arms, 8-3/4 in.; one miniature, 4-3/4 in., [kiln debris], 16th century if of the period. Both with scattered chips, surface abrasions, kiln debris, other flaws as made. Provenance: Private Collection, Knoxville, Tennessee. Bellarmine jugs were made from 16th through 19th centuries in the Rhine River area of Germany.
