one side with Venus and Cupid with bow and arrow, other with trophies of love and music, dark olive ground with extensive gilt highlights, signed lower left "A Birks" (Albion Birks, late 19th century), gold Mintons globe mark on base and "1404", 12 in. Excellent condition, very minor surface abrasions. Provenance: Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
