early Mintons [pate-sur-pate] plaque with mythological theme "The Market of Cupids", figures of cupids in various positions on dark olive ground, signed lower left "LM Solon '72" (Louis Marc Solon, 1835-1913), 5-5/8 x 14-1/4 in., mounted on board with green velvet backing (backing not removed), with gilt wood frame, 10-3/4 x 19-1/4 in. 1/4 in. repaired edge chip near top right corner.
