Psyche being carried by Mercury above the ocean, dark brown ground, gilt rim, impressed indistinct mark "Schenck" (Frederick Schenck), attributed to George Jones and Bros., England, late 19th century, 6-3/4 in.; later wood frame with fabric mat. Excellent condition, burlap backing glued to mat (not removed). Provenance: Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
