depicting eagle and vulture fighting over lamb on brown ground, raised and coiled snake at base, verso with polychrome flowers and butterflies, base of decoration marked "E Steele" (working at Minton 1860s), base marked by hand under glaze "3d", 8-1/4 in. Excellent condition, very minor surface abrasions. Provenance: Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
