the four evangelists holding various objects related to their calling, accompanied by attributes with trees behind, St. John, St. Mark, St. Matthew, St. Luke, purple and puce robes, early 19th century, all about 8 in. Generally good condition, chips and minor repairs to leaves, trees and flowers, other small areas of glaze loss, firing cracks and surface irregularities as made. Provenance: Collection of the Late William Edward Rudolph, Atlanta, Georgia.
