thimble shaped with enameled polychrome and gilt decoration with cartouches picturing Queen Victoria, seven dated 1837-1897, commemorating sixtieth year of the reign of Queen Victoria, about 6 in., [some with large repaired rim chips, others with scattered rim chips and surface losses]; eight Russian, dated 1896 with crown and two Cyrillic letters for Nicholas, polychrome decoration with gilt borders, open cartouches with two initials below a crown, about 4-1/4 in., [many with interior stains, rim chips and loss of decoration]; one dated 1848-1898, marked on bottom "Austria", 4 in., [excellent condition]; one dated 1911, 4 in., [one side with small dent, chips and losses to enameling and gilding]. Provenance: Collection of the Late William Edward Rudolph, Atlanta, Georgia.
