Cossack on horseback, signed in Cyrillic in base, "….NAPS 1878", patinated and cold painted bronze, late 19th/early 20th century, 12 x 9-1/4 x 4 in. Breaks to rein, implement on Cossack's proper left side, tail and hoof, separation at joint on proper right arm, figure and horse loose. Provenance: Purchased in Leningrad shop 50 years ago; A Salem, South Carolina Collection.
