flowers, birds, butterflies, insert with anthemion rim, lion head winged serpent handles, four basilisk feet, bronze mounts possibly Russian, 19th century, 17-3/4 in. 4 x 3 in. chipped and cracked area at neck, base with several cracks, handles loose, loss to beak on one basilisk, lacking lid, slight wear and corrosion to mounts. Provenance: A Salem, South Carolina Collection.
