silver blades and tines with oval hollow handles, zigzag decoration, marks for Goldsmith's & Silversmith's Co., London, 1907, French import marks, twelve 7-1/2 in. knives, twelve 6 in. forks, oak presentation case, blue fabric interior, inscribed "To/Major C.A. Wilkinson/from the officers/85th Kings Light Infantry/25th August 1909", (24 pieces plus case). Light scratches, small dents; case with cracks and scratches. Provenance: A. M.
