domed top with central oval cartouche reserve with lion pulling cart with woman, burlwood border probably deal with fine light and dark string and banded inlay, base with inlaid escutcheon, bentwood handle with fine bands of light and dark string inlay, interior with purple paper, British, 8-3/4 x 9 x 8 in. including handle. Several areas of separation, chips, losses and minor repairs to veneer, red felt bottom with minor pest damage. Provenance: Private Collection.
