two-case construction with figured mahogany veneers, paneled upper doors opening to shelved interior, lower case with four dovetailed drawers with oak linings, bracket feet, British, 19th century, 73-1/2 x 50 x 24 in. Patches and repairs to door frames, lacking interior linen slides, some breaks at hinges and shrinking of door panels, bracket feet probably original with some later blocking. Provenance: Private Collection, Hodges, South Carolina.
