(New York, born 1925): lidded casserole, base marked "KK", 6-1/2 x 8-1/2 in., with seven matching bowls, unmarked, each 2-3/4 x 5-1/4 in., all stoneware with bands of speckled brown glaze on white ground. Casserole lid with repaired cracks, otherwise excellent condition. Provenance: Purchased in early 1950s as wedding gift from Allanstand Craft Shop, Asheville, North Carolina.
